Getting WellGrounded

The internet is a pretty amazing place.

One of my favorite parts of being active in the online world is the immense personal growth I have experienced as a result of my web interactions. Blog posts, lengthier articles (I don't read too many of those), videos, podcasts. A wealth of information.

Granted, too much information, but when I keep the influences to a minimum, like a small stack of well read magazine subscriptions, I find I gain a lot. A lot of insight, ideas, inspiration, encouragement and even personal connections and friendships.

What also amazes me about the internet is the synergy of ideas and the momentum to move forward creative thinking and solutions. Without a doubt a whole new world of possibilities has opened up to me because of the internet. And since the internet is and has been Damien's main gig for years and years I really do depend on this complicated, yet essential technology, in my life.

Thankfully the resources available on the internet aren't just for the techie types (like my husband) anymore. Connections, information, and resources for moms are everywhere on the internet these days. (Hopefully you see FIMBY as one of those).

And not just "old fashioned" written word blog type stuff but vlogs and video instruction, podcasts etc. To be honest, I've only scratched the surface of this world. My computer time is limited with all my other responsibilities, which I think is true for most of us.

So I want to recommend a resource for mothers that I think is really worth checking out.

Lisa Byrne at WellGrounded Life "helping moms take great care of themselves" is really rocking my world these days.

I know she's been on the web for a little while now and about a year ago I started paying attention to her posts on Simple Mom, where she is the Health Contributor.

Then shortly after Christmas Lisa hosted a free webinar called Create a Life You Love Waking Up to Every Morning that I listened to and loved. Her webinar gave me real tools & tips to use during a time of self evaluation and reflection.

I thought it was not simply coincidence that Lisa's webinar came my way at a time I needed it.

And that's when I really started to pay more attention to what she was doing at WellGrounded Life.

Then last month I published this post on our sugar stance with my peanut butter cookie recipe on the very same day Lisa published The Great Sugar Detox at Simple Mom.

There it is again. Internet synergy.

I signed up that day to receive her free Break the Sugar Habit Guided Workbook. I don't struggle with sugar the way I once did but I wanted to see for myself if this resource was something I could recommend to you. It is!

It's a great resource for people wanting to break free from sugar because it deals with more than the act of eating. It helps you evaluate what is going on at the emotional and biochemical levels also.

After reading it I contacted Lisa right away about promoting and advertising WellGrounded Life here at FIMBY and signed on as an affiliate.

To receive the Break the Sugar Habit Guided Workbook and all her other excellent free resources you sign up for her e-mail list. But trust me, her e-mail messages are worth it. She sends useful stuff. Not fluff.

From her e-mail list I learned about her newest free resource, a three part series on Calm, Productive, Upbeat Days. (Tell me you don't want that!)

I've watched two of the videos so far and wow. Last week I shared my decision to stop waiting for the stars to align and make writing happen more in my life. Some of the very same strategies and organizational tools I'm using to make this a reality are explained by Lisa in these free videos.

Have I mentioned yet how I love the synergy of the internet?

Lisa is so enthusiastic and the information she shares is real, practical, and inspirational (you'll be nodding your head and taking notes).

She's an expert, both in terms of education and experience, in women's health and well being and speaks directly to us busy mothers as a mother of young children herself. She's passionate about what she does and you can tell.

In addition to her free stuff (which is how you can access Create a Life You Love Waking Up To that I mentioned earlier) she offers a Real Food Cleansing E-book, a Wellness Course, and has a monthly membership site that looks fantastic (I'm not a member). If you are considering joining Lisa's monthly membership you should do so soon as the price will go up after July.

Anyway, that's the biggest affiliate schpiel I've ever given at FIMBY. But Lisa's stuff is really that good.

Your health and well being as a mother matters. It matters to you, to your children, to your partner, and to your community. If you need help taking great care of yourself I encourage you to check out what Lisa offers.

Renee, I've just become a member of Well Grounded this week following a link I saw on this site (it was the link about green smoothies in the 'inspiring internet' sidebar). I didn't realise you were an affiliate until I saw this post, otherwise I would have clicked through the affiliate link. Is there any way that you can get my membership added to your 'total'? If you need any of my details to pass on to Lisa just email me. I must add, I am so glad that I joined and would highly recommend it! The material is fantastic and has already helped me in just a few days. Love your site too - I always find it inspiring. Michelle
